Appreciated the place, it had VERY GOOD staff and food. A sitting area, an iron and ironing board, and a work desk were provided for us. Everything was great, the apartment is goat!

I had a very enjoyable 1 night stay in Otematata. The staff was so lovely friendly and affable. It was located in a central area in pub on the property.

The room was mind-blowingly warm, clean, and spacious with a jaw-dropping view of the autumn-colored golf course. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We loved being able to easily lock our bikes outside. Nearby attractions and a variety of dining options, free wi-fi, off-site car park, well-equipped kitchen, flat-screen TV, laundry. No pets/smoking.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of the hotel. The beautiful artwork on the walls and the cozy furnishings created a warm and inviting atmosphere. It made me feel right at home during my stay. Additionally, the hotel's general areas were easily accessible for senior people like myself. The hallways were wide and well-lit, making it easy to navigate with my walker. The staff were also very helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist me whenever I needed.

The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people is to have more seating options available in the courtyard area. It would be lovely to have some comfortable chairs and tables where we can relax and enjoy the outdoors.

I totally loved enjoying a meal at NZ Low & Slow Meat Co, that's definitely something worth experiencing at this hotel. The terrace and garden were nice, and the laundry facilities saved me some trouble.

Oh, I just adored the fact that no pets and no service animals are allowed at this property. Such a shame, I was really looking forward to sharing my room with a few furry friends.

The rooms at Waitaki Lakes Apartments - Otematata are super cozy and well-equipped. I loved the comfy beds and the fact that each unit has a kitchenette, perfect for budget travelers like me! Plus, there's a satellite TV for some entertainment after a long day of exploring.

Personally, I found the shower in the private bathroom a bit small. But hey, that's just my opinion and others might not mind it at all!

Stayed one night, had a nice apartment for kids to sleep in.

Spacious rooms with a two-room setup, including a kitchen/lounge and a separate bedroom/bathroom. Great view of the golf course and autumn colors from the window. Helpful and friendly staff. Convenient for cyclists with bike locking posts outside the room. Near tourist attractions in the Waitaki district.

The hotel also had easy accessibility for senior people, with ramps and handrails throughout the property, making it safe and convenient to navigate.

I would have loved to see a wider variety of activities and entertainment options for senior people. The children working there could have organized more organized outings or social gatherings to make the stay even more enjoyable.
